Education advisor and former inner-city Headteacher

After over 34 years of experience in education, 25 years at senior level, Dame Marlene A Robottom is currently a tutor and assessor on the national NPQH programme and NCSL Consultant Leader. She works with London Challenge to support Headteachers in challenging schools, provides advice and support to sponsors on the development of Academies and advises on Ofsted. As Head of an 11-19 inner London multi-cultural school for 15 years, until December 2005, Marlene has direct experience and considerable expertise in a wide range of factors contributing to effective education, including raising attainment in inner-city schools and supporting schools in challenging circumstances. She became a Futureversity patron in 2006.
