Young people are nearly three times more likely to be unemployed than the rest of the population
...so there has never been a more crucial time to invest in our work. With no statutory funding, we are increasingly reliant on donations from those who really want to make a difference - not just to young people but to society as a whole. All the money we receive goes directly into supporting our inspiring courses and programmes.
- Just £60 pays for a young person to complete our Introduction To Global Markets summer course where they'll learn about the industry and receive career advice from professionals.
- £80 covers all costs for a young person to learn how to cook on our International Cookery summer course and find out about progression routes into the hospitality industry.
- £271 enables a young person to complete our nationally accredited First Aid At Work course, which is an asset to their CV and gives them the know-how and confidence to deal with all kinds of accidents and emergencies in the workplace.
- £2,800 pays for a young unemployed person to attend our award winning 11-week Job Ready programme, helping them to get off the dole and into sustained employment, training or further education.
